~ Be Thoughtful Thursday ~

It is so easy to get caught up in the mundane routines of life — thinking about our own immediate needs, feelings, and desires. We move quickly from task to task, focused on what must get done, what we need next, and how we feel in the moment.

But I often wonder — what kind of world would we live in if we intentionally considered the hearts of those around us?

God calls us to be kind and considerate. Not to the point of being overbearing or without healthy boundaries, but in a consistent way — the way we would want to be treated ourselves. Thoughtfulness is not a weakness. It is strength guided by compassion.

Behind closed doors, we never truly know what someone is carrying. We do not know the hardships, the silent battles, the private tears, or the spiritual warfare they may be fighting. A person standing in front of us could be holding themselves together by the thinnest thread.

Our kindness could be that thread.

A smile.
A kind word.
Buying someone lunch, coffee, or groceries.
A sincere “How are you?”

Whether the gesture feels big or small, it matters. It may be the lifeline someone needs in that very moment — a reminder that God still sees them, still loves them, and still sends people to plant seeds of hope.

Let us be thoughtful on our level. Let us love well where we are. Let us extend grace as freely as we desire to receive it.

After all, Jesus gave us the golden rule — not as a suggestion, but as a way of life. 🙏🏽💜🦋🌻🫶🏾
